To Play the Game
• Points are earned by correctly guessing the word that your teammate is trying to imitate.
• The acting player must produce an associated sound for each word. If the acting player fails to use a sound, then no points are awarded for that word.
• If the acting player ONLY uses a sound(s) to imitate the word, two points are awarded for each word guessed correctly within the 30 second time limit.
• The acting player CAN include gestures in his/her imitation of the word; however, only one point is awarded if his/her team successfully guesses the word. Gestures are defined as movement below the neck. For example, chewing is not a gesture.
• Once the acting player’s team has successfully guessed the word, the acting player clicks the “Got it!” button and begins imitating the next word on the screen.
• Each color on the game board is associated with a specific Sound Effects© category. The colored space occupied by the team’s game piece determines the category for the next round.
